The PID program continues to keep me quite busy, but during some down time, or upon completion of the PIDP, I would like to explore some options for Hybrid/Electric Vehicle training to keep current with industry. SkilledTradesBC has just recently introduced electric drive to our heavy mechanical trades curriculum, but with the direction that transportation seems to be heading I personally believe there will be a huge push to move this way with highway trucks and equipment.

In the immediate future I want to take some time to reflect on what I’ve learnt through the PIDP, and continue to build upon those skills, before I look to pursue further education to better myself as an instructor. I would consider myself a blue collar person, but since being in a college setting my eyes have been opened to what opportunities may exist in my future in which my blue collar background can have significant benefit. In the distant future I can see myself pursuing a masters in education.

More locally as I start to get my footing in the college atmosphere I would like to explore joining different committees to see the inner workings of the college from a different perspective than that of the instructor lens I wear.
